Sažetak
The fundamental aim of the article is to indicate the appropriate manner of proclaiming God in our time. For this purpose, the introductory chapter highlights the correlational perspective of theology as an inevitable starting point for every Christian proclamation. In this context, the first part outlines the physiognomy of a man who lives in a changing epoch as the only bearer of the Christian message. Taking into account the analysis from the first chapter, the second chapter addresses the contaminated collective imaginary where distorted images of God have taken root, presenting the image of God in Jesus Christ and highlighting the virtue of gentleness through which Jesus mediates the image of God. This is a quality that Christian proclamation should embrace in both content and form, remaining faithful to 1 Peter 3:16. In lieu of a conclusion, the article proposes reimagination as a means by which it is possible to reach a renewed image of God in the proclamation and to cleanse the contaminated collective imaginary, along with a practical example of reimagination.
