Project The road of my life flows through the streets of Zagreb

Abstract

The article describes the project The road of my life flows through the streets of Zagreb, in which students of Antun Branko Šimić elementary school explored the past of the city of Zagreb and its heritage (cultural, natural, literary and spiritual). Different subjects and extracurricular activities are combined to develop the creative potential of students, to encourage reading and a culture of good behaviour. Students acquired digital skills and used them in the presentation of the project in the local community. Special emphasis was placed on the local Zagreb dialect as part of Croatia's intangible cultural heritage. The results of the research work on the Zagreb dialect were used in the Citizen Project.
