Abstract
The design of a dual medium-voltage substation DTS 10(20)/0,4 kV requires an interdisciplinary approach encompassing electrical engineering, construction, and safety aspects. The process includes an analysis of key phases, starting with legal regulations and requirements that ensure the correctness and legality of construction, up to the technical specifications of the necessary equipment. Particular emphasis is placed on the selection of transformers, medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) distribution, as well as safety measures that ensure the long-term and reliable operation of the facility. In addition to technical aspects, issues related to system maintenance, energy loss reduction, and operational optimization are considered, ensuring more efficient electricity distribution and economic feasibility. The study covers technical data on transformers, equipment sizing, grounding and protection methods, as well as installation and connection requirements. Calculations for sizing MV and LV systems are carried out to ensure that all technical parameters meet safety and efficiency standards. By applying modern methods and high-quality equipment, the long-lasting and stable operation of the substation is ensured in accordance with the needs of the distribution network.
