Sažetak

In this paper, I argue that Hegel’s concept of ‘idea’, as developed in the Science of Logic (1816), is a methodological foundational concept of the Philosophy of law (1821). This is shown in the context of Hegel’s image of the ‘state as organism’, and this against the background of posthumanist critical theories that emphasise a trans-state perspective. The prevailing idea here is that, in principle, there should only be a single organism with which we are connected, networked and interrelated and in which we are embedded. This contrasts with Hegel’s position.
