Sažetak
In addition to an introduction and conclusion, the work is divided into two parts. The first part, entitled The Bishop and Christian Unity: An Ecumenical Vademecum (2020): The Structure of the Document and the Role of the Bishop in Ecumenism, discusses the structure of the document and emphasizes two aspects of the ecumenical work of the bishop, namely personal and delegated work. The second part of the work is entitled New Emphases of the Document The Bishop and Christian Unity: An Ecumenical Vademecum, and it discusses new emphases and novelties compared to earlier ecumenical documents. These novelties do not divert the ecumenical direction of the Catholic Church in some new, hitherto unknown direction but rather should be viewed as a deepening of existing regulations and recommendations, as well as a better understanding of ecumenical work at the local-diocesan level. According to the ecumenical vademecum, the bishop has a key and irreplaceable role in this context.
