Sažetak

The author explores a recent datum according to which Juraj Julije Klović resided in France for a brief period of time. On the trail of this information, other documents and literature, the author attempts to estimate when did the great miniaturist depart for France and when he returned to Italy. Judging by all the indications that stem from the known facts, he estimated that the most probable time of Klović's residence in France was between the September 1552 and April 1553. Besides, the article mentions a painting of St Ursula by Klović and sent to Prague as a gift. The author also mentions Klović's student who was supposed to recognize the painting in Prague and testify of its value. According to the author, this student of Klović, who remained unidentified in the letter,
should have been Bartholomeus Spranger. The letter contains other unknowns, demanding further research to shed more light on the residence of Juraj Julije Klović in France.
