Abstract

Academic Ivan Golub visited our area this spring, stayed in Villa Šaldi in Selce, mingled with us and visited the regular exhibition of J. J. Klović in Grižane, and put it all on paper, in his own characteristic way, literary. For 40 years academic Ivan Golub has spend his summers in Selce, and every time he has visited the nearby places, taking special interest in J. J. Klović and all our antiquities. During those occasions he has talked to people, mostly the older ones. He writes it all down using simple, warm, humane words which attract curiosity and attention of the readers.
