Abstract

In the twentieth century Selce went through a series of changes regarding the tourist trade. At the end of that period, there was a stop, which very much resembled a crisis which left traces on the lives of all the inhabitants of Selce. Question is: what should one expect in the new century? Basically there are three paradigms: 1. to be trendy 2. prolong the season 3. modern family tourism. In order to achieve this, new resources are needed. First of all: the space. Than finding the right way how to prolong the summer season within the capacities of today and naturally, a new organisation and incessant education of the population.
