Abstract

The author analyses forms of tourism that totally contradict rules of nature. These forms of tourism are expansive and become aggressive because of the uncontrolled development, causing at the same time chaotic relations in space. Excess of house construction in the coastal area and overwork of the local infrastructure delete the natural and antropogeneus values of the region, which were the main motives for the tourist to visit the mentioned area. This sort of development destroys the identity of Mediterranean and of the Littoral region and makes the strictly individual mediterranean landscapes become totally anonimous. The writer concludes that it is impossible to solve the existing conflicts and to realize the touristic development without cooperation in field of tourism among mediterranean countries and other countries.
