Abstract

The author writes about the architectural heritage of Crikvenica and Selce that dates back to the Secession Period. The author deals with numerous buildings built in the period between 1890 and 1930 that show various characteristics of this style. During this time family homes and luxurious villas were built as well as hotels among which Hotel Miramar in Crikvenica stood out as an example of beautiful projecting and workmanship.
