Sažetak

The author, Jakovalj’s son-in-law, has explained the national traditions, especially the best-known tradition; The Blessing of the Sea in the original Griški Chackavian dialect. In the introduction the author describes the tourist town Jadranovo where today’s inhabitants predominately work in tourism or the fishing industry whilst in the past it was best known for its builders.
