This article honours the life and contributions of Professor Diana Stolac, a renowned Croatian linguist and academic, who passed away on 23 November 2025. Known for her extensive contributions to Croatian linguistics and philology, Professor Stolac authored nearly 200 works that spanned various fields, including historical linguistics, syntax, sociolinguistics, heritage language studies, and Croatian grammar. She held a distinguished career at the University of Rijeka, where she played a pivotal role in teaching and research. She was an advocate for linguistic education, gender equality, and academic collaboration.
