Sažetak

In the paper an analytical review of maintenance costs for each distribution area is given as well as interrelations based on different criteria, for example territory (continental, coastal, big cities) and electric energy losses. Real data from HEP Distribution book keeping and operation in the
year 2001 are used.
The analysis is based on short term cost theory. Short term means a period of time in which firm costs cannot be influenced, while long term also covers the investment period.
