Sažetak

The paper provides an overview of plants that Pevalek in 1925 considered to be threatened by sales on the Zagreb market, as well as those endangered by hikers and excursionists, for which he proposed restricting their harvesting through several categories. Since exactly one hundred years have passed, their current threat status and protection are examined, primarily in the Zagreb, Samobor, and Žumberak regions, with particular emphasis on the trade of these species. At the beginning of the paper, an overview of the state of protection of plant species at that time is given, and the mechanisms used to protect them today are presented.
