Sažetak
The debate over immigration has taken place over and over again, almost ad infinitum, in the context of the existence of government. This is not unusual nor unreasonable, given the omnipresence of the state apparatus. However, the present paper offers a different perspective: how does this dispute play out under the assumption of anarchy. In one sense, this is entirely theoretical, since all the world’s people are under the control of one state or another. However, in the absence of world governments, each of these governments, without exception, are in a state of anarchy with each other, so the present discussion may not be solely abstract. In this analysis, I contend that under at least the anarcho-capitalist version of this philosophy, open borders would be the proper conclusion.
