Sažetak
The aim of this paper is to answer the question of what are the fundamental determinants of the formation of Christian identity that are particularly faced with the challenges of understanding and living the religiosity of digital culture. In the paper, we start from the position of Pope Francis that “today we are not experiencing an era of change but a real change of eras” (Pope Francis, 2017, 3) in which human religiosity is also undergoing its transformation. We will try to show that in terms of reflecting on the challenges of religiosity in the digital age, it is important to emphasize the fundamental determinants of Christian identity, which go beyond the horizontal-immanent level and have their own originality and uniqueness in relation to other religious identities. In a world like ours, in which the individual, this-worldly spirituality of the “moment” prevails, it is important to emphasize remembrance/memory, which has at its center the Trinitarian-Christological credo and the call to follow Jesus Christ as the foundation, norm and criterion of Christian existence.
