Sažetak
In this paper, the authors analyze which legal sources can be used to study the history of the economy, especially livestock and human nutrition in medieval Grobnik and Vinodol. It is about the Vinodol Law, the preserved income and expenditure accounts of Marko Oršić from 1593, the contracts of Petar Zrinski with the inhabitants of Grobnik and Bakar in 1642, the urbarium of Grobnik from 1686 and other Vinodol urbariums and contracts. From these sources, conclusions can be reached about the centuries-old tradition of cattle breeding in Grobnik and Vinodol. In the final part of the paper, the authors deal with the historical-cultural
aspect of heritage preservation with reference to the intangible heritage of Vinodol and neighboring areas where the Glagolitic heritage stands out. It is noticeable that there is a possibility to study, register and protect the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Vinodol.
