Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the economic profitability and financial feasibility of investing in organic almond production with a combination of external and own sources of financing. Based on technological and economic starting points a technological-economic model has been prepared, whose results represent input parameters for dynamic and static evaluation of profitability and sensitivity analysis of the investment. The investment is liquid during the loan repayment period. The values of payback period, net present value and internal rate of return indicate the economic profitability of the investment in organic almond production, assuming the achievement of the expected production results and the successful sale.
