Sažetak
This study investigates the application of the Arduino platform, an open-source system, as a highly efficient tool in modern plant protection. Owing to hardware modularity and software interface flexibility, Arduino enables precise real-time environmental data acquisition and the automation of response systems to abiotic and biotic stressors. The primary objective of this research was to analyse the operational capabilities of this technology in safeguarding crops against adverse effects caused by animals, extreme precipitation, and fire hazards. The analysis encompasses the integration of diverse sensor modules facilitating early threat detection and the timely activation of protective mechanisms. Findings indicate that the implementation of such systems significantly contributes to risk reduction in agricultural production while optimizing economic costs.
