Sažetak

This paper describes the creation of CLARIN ERIC and HR-CLARIN, outlines their mission and main tasks as well as the role of repositories of language data integrated into the pan-European Federation of language repositories. In addition, the role of HRCLARIN as a central place for storing, collecting, developing and sharing linguistic resources and tools for both synchronous and diachronous analysis of the Croatian language is considered in the paper. Several suggestions are also made as to the direction in which Croatian language resources for research into the history of the Croatian language should be developed.
