Sažetak

This study seeks to promote sustainability in marine transportation by considering the idea of green shipping. Despite being a dynamic and evolving industry, the maritime transportation sector has yet to fully leverage optimization techniques for sustainable logistics in practical situations. This work examines a numerical case from the marine sector. The designed model addresses three primary objectives: minimizing overall expense, which encompasses both the transportation costs and the fixed charge associated with delivering LNG cylinders to the ports; reducing the cost of deterioration of goods; and promoting green hydrogen production on ships through strategic reinvestment of a portion of the earned profit. A new mathematical framework called the fully intuitionistic fuzzy multiobjective fixed charge transportation problem (FIF-MOFCTP) is proposed to accomplish these objectives using triangular intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (TINFNs). A new solution methodology based on intuitionistic fuzzy harmonic mean (IFHM) is developed and applied to the suggested model. The practicality and effectiveness of the developed method are demonstrated with the help of a numerical example, followed by a comparative analysis with existing techniques. The results, limitations, sensitivity analysis, and future scope are also discussed.
