TECHNICAL TRAINING IS AN IMPORTANT DETERMINANT OF THE SYSTEM OF EDUCATION

Sažetak

In the text the author deals with establishing the system of education
in Croatia from the aspect of technical-training subjects
for young people. A critical presentation of the existing practice in
Croatia, and also of the situation in some countries with different
levels of social, scientific and technological development is given.
Basic social and methodological principles for the establishment
of each educational system are presented and the necessity of inclUding
technical-training SUbjects into the curriculums of comprehensive
schools is demonstrated.
