Personal experience regarding nanoosis

Sažetak

Nanoscience and nanotechnology, including nanomaterials, have been included over the last decade into the most dynamic and very substantially funded research fields. As in any other field, apart from the advantages, it is only realistic to expect difficulties as well. From the aspect of the technological approach, apart from the functionality and economic justification, it is necessary to take into consideration also the social criteria of assessment. These are primarily the influence on the health of people who work in this field, as well as the protection of the environment and the nature. The work witnesses through a personal experience about the influence of nanoparticles on health and describes a case of nanoosis. This has been used as the base for giving recommendations for working with nanoparticles.
