A draft of a dictionary of Croatian computer jargon

Sažetak
The author’s dictionary of Croatian computer jargon is the first linguistic attempt to systematically record a professional jargon in the Croatian language and to juxtapose and compare it to the standard language terminology of the same field. This is a pioneering endeavour, because the author had no paradigm or model to rely upon in any of the existing papers or studies. The research of jargon is very interesting from the sociolinguistic point of view, but at the same time it is also important, as it provides a clear distinction between jargon and terminology in the standard language.
The dictionary of Croatian computer jargon could be included a general dictionary of Croatian jargons as well as a dictionary of neologisms.
