FREE INDIRECT SPEECH IN FACENDE OF ISLAND OF VIS

Abstract

The article describes the characteristics of free indirect speech from narrative and grammatical standpoint. The example of Facende of island of Vis demonstrates that this form of narration is very common in oral literature. In the article we also made a classification of indirect speech found in Facende of island of Vis.
