Sažetak

The main thrust of the paper is the relatioship between the concept of ordination and laying-on of hands in the early church. On the basis of biblical texts the author shows that the laying-on of hands was practised for varied purposes including the commissioning of missionaries and not exclusively for the function of ordination of presbyters.
