Sažetak
This article contains the bibliography of the poems written on special occasions and dedicated to bishop Strossmayer, comprising the list of the fi rst verses printed on the solemn occasion of the bishop’s ordainment (1850) up to the poems of condolences marking the bishop’s death and the sporadic verses from the end of the 1930s and the beginning of the 1940s, including the independently published works and occasional poems published in all the periodicals issued in this period. Based on the original research of the periodicals (Katolički list, Vrhbosna, Glasnik biskupija Bosanske i Sriemske, Strossmayerov koledar, Vienac, Prosvjeta, Hrvatsko kolo), along with the input from broad-spectrum bibliographies and special bibliographic reviews of this corpus (Srakić, Ćurić, Zovko), this bibliography -unlike the previous ones which were limited to either certain journals or to selected authorial contributions –provides the most complete bibliographic list of the occasional poems dedicated to bishop Strossmayer ever made.
