Sažetak

This paper deals with the interests of children for lyric poem in the early grades of the primary schools. It commences with the characteristics of the lyric poem, its position in the teaching process and previous researches in the methodical literature. The research was conducted in the primary school in Gospić in county of Lika-Senj. It was based on the chosen sample of children in the early grades of the primary school. The results are showed and analysed.
