Pedagogic Workshop in the Function of Active Teaching and Learning through Success
Vesna Buljubašić-Kuzmanović
Sažetak
This paper attempts to examine the extent to which pedagogic workshops as a cooperative form of learning contribute to both teaching and learning through success.
The research, within the framework of which a pedagogic workshop entitled “Myths, Planets and the Horoscope” was held, attempts to both exceed the frames of traditional teaching, which is orientated towards the acquisition of knowledge, and measure the effects of active teaching orientated towards action and success. The research results show that what contributes to active teaching and learning through success is, amongst other things, the school climate and environment (the feelings of pleasure, relaxedness, acceptance, success), one’s own engagement (involvedness and cooperation) and one’s way of learning (active, interesting, useful and relating to life).
Pedagogic workshops promote learning through success by active teaching orientated towards development and not so much towards the content of learning (units) and the amount of acquired knowledge.
