The Library of Pavel Josef Šafařĺk in the collection of the National Museum Library

Abstract
The paper deals with the library of Pavel Josef Šafařík, which is the most significant personal book collection stored in the National Museum Library. In the introduction of the paper, the history of the collection and its »story« within the National Museum are described. Then, individual parts of this collection, stored in the Department of Manuscripts and Early Printed Books and the Central Library Department, are briefl y discussed. After brief evaluation of the manuscript collection, the attention is aimed to the Glagolitic early printed books and books published in the Croatian language area in general.
