Effect of Light on a Tin Cathode in Stannous Acid Solution

Abstract

This preliminary experiment study makes it possible to demonstrate
that, in the case of the Sn/Sn(II) system, the effect of
the light can be at first explained by the lowering of potential
barriers.mThe study was made using unfiltered light which was simultaneously outside the absorption region of the solution and below
the photoelectric threshold of tin.
