Abstract

This paper presents a chronological analysis of the building history of the Janković’s manor in Biškupci. The Biškupci manor was a historical seat of the Stražeman estate, purchased by Ivan Janković in 1764, who took up residence there. The paper brings a review of known archival and visual material compared to newly found archival documents, mostly held in the Požega City Museum, with new insights into the furnishing of the manor.
