Abstract
We hereby present you with Volume 13, No. 2 of Transactions on Maritime Science (ToMS). Before the articles, we have some organisational and scientific information to share with you.To start with, we want to mention our organisational additions, upgrades, and changes, which have been introduced in order to be more efficient in editorial procedures. For this Volume, we had 205 reviewers from 49 countries all over the world (Australia, the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa). Compared to the previous volume, we have an increased spatial spread of reviewers. For instance, we have expanded to three more countries, one continent, and ten more reviewers. The list of reviewers is provided at the end of this issue. Before writing this Editorial, I checked our Open Journal System (OJS). As defined by OJS: “The percentage for the selected date range is calculated for submissions submitted during this date range and have received a final decision. Using OJS methodology, our OJS calculated on 21 October 2023-18 October 2024: rejection rate 66%, days to accept 156, days to reject 146, days to first editorial decision 10. If I should choose only the year (2024), the rejection rate is 71%.
