The 14N (n, 7Li) 8Be reaction, a possible six-nucleon transfer

Abstract

Differential and total cross sections for the 14N (n, 7Li) 8Be and 14N (n, 7Li2) 8Be reactions have been measured at 14.4 and 1 8.2 MeV. The angular distributions have been analyzed in the framework of the exact-finite-range DWBA, assuming a direct six-nucleon transfer process.
