Abstract

Measurements of the dielectric properties of CuTlTe2 in the solid and liquid phases were carried out in a wide range of frequencies (104 to 107 Hz) at different temperatures (165 to 506°C). The material displays dielectric dispersion and two loss peaks are observed. The curves log ε' vs. temperature, ε' and tan δ vs. frequency, give a direct evidence of the existence of a Debye-type relaxation having a wide distribution of relaxation times.
