EDITORIAL INTRODUCTION
Dear readers,
Welcome to the first issue of the fourth volume of the Sports Law, Policy & Diplomacy Journal. We are once again extremely delighted that our collaboration with the Sport&EU Association has enabled conference presenters to submit their contributions for publication in our Journal.
In this issue, we present five papers that demonstrate the great potential of this Journal. The first paper examines the topic of Sports, gender, and diplomacy in socialist Yugoslavia, while the second addresses The failure of the CJEU and the commission to support football consumers, and the need for a European Sports Act. The third paper focuses on e-sports and is entitled Dispute resolution in esports: In search of a supreme court for esports. The fourth paper holds the title Constraint without succession: External legal review and retained regulatory authority in international sport. Finally, we conclude this issue with a paper entitled The contradıctıons of gender equalıty ın Erasmus+ sport: Towards polıcy convergence.
Finally, we are pleased to highlight that, thanks to the quality work of the Editorial Board and the editors, as well as the overall quality of the papers, the Journal has been recently indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) adding it to our prestigious list composed of SURF (German Federal Institute of Sport Science–Bundesinstitut fur Sportwissenschaft), Idrottsforum.org (Malmö University, Sweden), HRČAK (Portal of Croatian Scientific and Professional Journals), HeinOnline, and ERIHPLUS (an index containing bibliographic information on academic journals in the humanities and social sciences-SSH). We will continue with our mission of securing the journal's indexing in other relevant databases.
We invite all those interested in publishing with us, particularly early-career researchers, to submit an article. We are committed to supporting the contributions of young researchers and look forward to receiving your submissions and to supporting you at the starting point of your future careers.
