Abstract
A Leonardo da Vinci contact seminar organized by the Irish National Agency Leargas took place in Malahide, Ireland on September 27 – 30, 2009. At this contact seminar, around 130 delegates from Europe came to Dublin to exchange ideas and seek partners to work together on vocational education and training (VET) projects. The idea of the contact seminar was to create networking opportunities for institutions wishing to develop Leonardo da Vinci partnerships involving a wide range of themes. The institutions participating in the contact seminar were VET schools and colleges, small and large businesses, training and research institutes and social partners. The aims of the Dublin contact seminar have been achieved by enabling Croatian participants to meet their future partners and to set the stepping stones for future cooperation which will contribute to enhancing the level of their knowledge, skills and competences and result in bringing Croatia closer to Leonardo da Vinci objectives and European educational goals.
