Acquired angioedema as the cause for acute abdomena - case view

Abstract

A 51-year-old patient is shown with acquired angioedema – abdominal type, without approved associated illness. Androgen Danazol therapy provided a good clinical response along with the management of C4 component complement values. Further follow-up is needed for eventual non-manifestation of associated illness.
