Abstract
In the paper is analyzing the play of Davor Špišić South 2 from the year 2001. The play which is the closest to the european phenomenon of partially taking over the violent british trend In yer face theatre in a drama from the beginning of the millennium. We have proven, from one side, how one brutal lore of drama and her reformed descendants find their effect in socially corrupted enviroments, and from the other, that, due to similary, beyonde literature cause, stylistic intervention, in previously mentioned plays, are identical as the one used by gerhart Hauptmann in his plays over a century ago. in all three cases, we have been inhibited, by the writers, to hell of unhuman circumstances where are conditions of life ably prevailed and reality is transcended by rising in to the ulterior. Plays are trying to be perfect copy of reality which they, in her representative segment, present in intensive totality. And their funcion is to make visible social casuality, even those who transcend the personal and interhuman, and that reality is being critisized as it is. Hopelessly, cycled hypocritical, violent and excruciatingly – unabled of condesending of future, and with basic intention of causing sympathy.
