Abstract

Contemporary Croatian fiction authors remembering Držić wrights about ethics, morality and relations between individual and ideology. the power of Držić’s implications we found in zoran Ferić’s reversed literary world, especially in his columns from »nacional« in which we can recognize nahvao-nazbilj dualism. Renato Baretić, »Osmi povjerenik«, Slobodan Novak, »Pristajanje«, Tomislav Zajec, »Ulaz u crnu kutiju«, Rade Jarak, »Enciklopedija očaja – triptih o nestajanju«, Ivo Brešan »Gorgone«, Robert Perišić, »Naš čovjek na terenu« – authors and novels where Držić’s wit about nazbilj and nahvao people is deep written in the text codes. As opposed, in Yves Aleksandar Tripković’s postmodern novel »Pariz nema jutra« we can detect an explicit mention of marin Držić’s name. During the year 2008, 500 years Držić’s birth jubilee, repercussions of Marin Držić – »ours contemporary« – appears like emblems in our reality in which dominate transitional resignation of individual in addition of greed, power desire, spiritual emptiness, virtually removal of almost every kind of moral standards and conventions.
