Abstract

A newly discovered autograph by Filippo de Diversi, codex in which he copied the epistles of St Jerome, St Augustine and others during his days in Venice in 1455, casts new light on his life and work. This voluminous codex (278 folios) is kept in Holkham Hall, England, in the library of the Earl of Leicester. The article includes a list of all the epistles copied in the codex, accompanied by bibliographical data.
