Abstract

Does Christianity understand salvation as a rescue from a damaged and evil world, or as a growth and fullness of being? Although the human nature is wounded and weakened by sin, it is not rejected by devaluation, but leavened from within by being accepted, purified and elevated by grace. What are the consequences of this relationship of grace and nature for a life of a priest? Christianity is the religion of incarnation, and it is through man that God wants to reach every human: what is the meaning of this truth for a particular priest's life?
