Abstract

This work concisely presents preliminary results of the systematic archaeological exscavations of Zala Cave in the period from 2005 to 2007. The results confirmed human presence during medieval times, Roman period and prehistory. Zala Cave is the first discovered Palaeolithic site, with the Epigravettian culture, in the part of Croatia.
