Abstract

The paper provides a short description of all stages in conservation and restoration intervention, starting from preliminary research until the final recommendations on how to treat, handle, store and keep the found objects, including all used materials and tools. During the intervention, on certain objects we performed non-destructive testing examinations (EDXRF and industrial defectoscopy), in order to establish existence of possible ornament and adornment, the original antique surface, as well as materials used in making the objects. From this description, it is obvious that different professions need to collaborate on the same project here, in order to ensure better understanding and better interpretations of objects found.
