Abstract
To improve business efficiency, recent practise has introduced the category of work from home. Employers strive to cut the cost of the workplace and, on the other hand, employees demand more flexible hours. Those working with the computer and using new communication technologies are the most suitable category for the type of work dislocated from the main office. In addition to benefits for the employer and employee, this type of employment is favourable for the environment, as it cuts down traffic and traffic-related pollution. Safety and health requirements at dislocated workplaces must conform to occupational safety legislation and employees must be suitably trained.
