Abstract
This paper is motivated by the appearance of new, modern forms of crimes and a need for establishing new methods and procedures for solving those crimes and detecting unknown offenders. It is a common fact that police is mainly reactive in searching suspects after the crime happened, using available methods and means. Therefore, by investigating modern criminality and new forms of committing crimes, police is developing new forensic and other methods for its prevention and detection. Within the area of criminality, which is a topic of this paper, police is not behind the criminals only a usual step or two. That is to say, by the forensic examination of the crime scene, by the shown types of crime, trače forensics and other specifics are not accepted, so useful forensic and identification methods are not developed enough. Due to the fact that for application of such methods scientific/technological preconditions and best practices from police services from other countries exist, the reason for ignoring those in our conditions is not quite clear.
