Childhood and school days of bishop Mijo Škvorc

Abstract

The childhood and education of the bishop Mijo škvorc by name have been studied upon ori-ginal archival materials. Most materials, precisely 22 boxes, were taken from the archives of the croatian Province of Jesuits and the data about his education were gathered from school documents as certificates, reports etc. The diary that the bi¬shop kept during his stay in Travnik from 1934 to 1938 is also a valuable source of information on his education, while relevant data about his stu¬dent days and doctorate were found in the Archiepiscopal Archives in Zagreb.
