Abstract
The paper describes new technological achievement and solutions in the construction of integrated measuring stations manufactured by the company Leica that have been developed in the last ten years. New constructions in the integrated measuring stations have significantly enhanced the operation of the engine to run the alidade around the vertical axis and the telescope around the horizontal axis. They have also provided significantly higher precision and accuracy of sighting, angle and distance measurement. Above the linear CCD sensor, there are parabolic mirrors installed instead of flat mirrors. It allows the concentrated amount of light reaching the linear CCD sensor to pass through the circle with the coded distribution, which makes it possible to read the circle scale even 5000 times in a second. In the new automated measuring stations, a direct drive based on the reverse piezoelectric effect. For the purpose of electro-optical distance measurement, the PinPoint EDM-system has been developed. There has been also the technology of System Analyzer developed to measure large distances (up to 1000 m) without a prism or reflex foils. The application of "anamorphic" prism system for better formation of laser beam signal provides more accurate distance measurement.
