Urogenital atrophy (UGA) incontinence as an estrogenic deficit result in perimenopause and postmenopause

Abstract
About 32% of Croatian women are menopausal or postmenopausal, meaning that one third of all women live in unfavorable hormone conditions. Resulting low levels of estrogen and UGA, along with pathological issues are permanently present in peri and ostmenopause. Therefore, increase of need for therapy and pain relief procedures are excepted which are simple and safe to perform and significantly raise the quality of life. Therapy is complex, but local vaginal treatment of UGA is highly effective and represents the first choise method.
