Relief reflection of structural resgaping during the recent tectoniccaly active stage, in the north-western part of the outer Dinarides mountain range
Darko Mihljević
Abstract
Two principal directions of mountain ridge axes in the area of NW part of Outher Dinarides have been pointed out. They are consequence of the former and most recent tectonic active phase. Also, the kinematic model of counterclockwise rotation of structures has been outlined, and recognised as the fundamental cause of main arc shaped mountain ridges. Due to the mentioned kinemtaic model, recent morphotectonic evolution of NW part of Outer Dinarides has been interpreted.
